Apple Expects Eleventh iPhones To Be Sold At Tenths
Apple commissioned suppliers to release parts for 75 million iPhone XI, XI Max and XIR by the end of 2019, reports Bloomberg. The company expects to sell just such a number of new iPhone models by the end of this year. This corresponds to sales of the iPhone XR, XS and XS Max for the same period last year.
Probably, a number of software and hardware improvements allows Apple to predict stable demand for new models.
Last year, iPhone sales fell due to weak demand in China. This forced the company to cut back on orders for components several times and pay a penalty to Samsung for the extra OLED displays. Bloomberg analysts do not exclude that the story may repeat from the iPhone 2019.
