Bug in iOS 9 allows you to view photos with infinite zoom
Modern operating systems are so complex that to create a version that is absolutely free from bugs and vulnerabilities, it is not possible even ten cumulative updates. An unusual bug was discovered in Apple’s software platform for the work and staff Photos.
As is known, in the standard application for viewing photos on the iPhone and iPad has a limit on the scale of the images. Can increase frames up to a certain level, then the picture will return to its original position. Due to crash in iOS users can infinitely scale any image that is in memory of the mobile device.
To reproduce the crash quite easily. For this you need to open the Photos app on your iPhone or iPad and select any photo. You must then click the “Change” button to enable the cropping of the picture (on the bottom panel, next to the “Cancel” button), and then to rotate the photo using the button “Rotate 90 degrees”.
Now remains to confirm saving the image by pressing “Ready”. If you now start to increase the photograph, there are no restrictions on the scale is not: the app will zoom to infinity. If long zoom, at one point will fail and will appear on the screen artifacts.
Do that thing with the endless increase in the photo only once – immediately after the rotation of the image. If you flip the picture, then repeat this will not work. Bug tested and works on iOS 9.3.2 and 9.3.3 beta.
