“Divinity: Original Sin 2 – Definitive Edition” will be released on Mac next year
At the Apple event in new York, where it was announced a new Mac and iPad, showed “Divinity: Original Sin 2 – Definitive Edition” role — playing game from the developers of Larian Studios. The game is due out for the operating system macOS in the next year.
On porting the game developers work together with the Studio Elverils, which is engaged in ports of video games on various platforms, as well as in the port participating Apple engineers from the Department of development of technology of Metal. The developers promise to release support for the following functions:
- Support Metal 1.2
- Support eGPU (for macOS 10.13 or later)
- Support for vertical sync (for macOS 10.13 or later)
- Support for MFI controllers
- Support Touch Bar MacBook
- Support trackpad gestures MacBook
Elverils for game plans to work with devices running macOS 10.13 and 10.14, support touchpad MacBook since macOS 10.12. For Touch Bar will have such features as quick access to the magazine or map. Divinity: Original Sin 2 will support HDR, backup saves to iCloud and cross-platform multiplayer between Windows operating systems and macOS.
Information about the price yet. The game is preparing to release in the first quarter of 2019 and will be available for purchase on Steam or the Mac App Store.
