Google has promised to correct the error where smartphones do not retain Pixel pictures
One of the main reasons why people opt for smartphones Google Pixel regardless of generation. But, unfortunately, these devices have software bugs, of which some photos are not saved.
The most common problem faced the owners of Pixel 3 and 3 XL, but Google promised to fix it in all generations smartphones.
The problem is that the camera sometimes does not save photos. However, there is no pattern or reason for the error, and immediately after the made photo, it appears in the camera app. In the end, the failure leads to the disappearance of the image after its opening.
Today, the 23rd of October, Google confirmed that it will release an update as soon as possible. In an interview with Android Police, a representative of the company confirmed that all three generations of Pixel starts to obtain the hotfix “in the coming weeks.” The statement also notes that this error “is rarely seen”, but it has become more common on Pixel 3, due to issues with memory management.
“In the coming weeks we will release a software update to correct a rare case where the photo is not saved in the device memory”.
Good that Google has recognized the problem and took its decision before it became a mass phenomenon.
