Google Photos made the limit for the function “Live albums”
“Live albums” in Google Photos will no longer be endless: now they cannot be downloaded more than 10 thousand photos or videos. It is reported by the technical support service.
The function of “Live albums” in Google Photos is a service for storing photos and video content that can be shared with other users of the platform in real time. Long time users could add in Live Albums unlimited number of files, but on 26 October, the company decided to introduce a limit of photos and videos: now the album can not be more than 20 thousand images and videos.
Each member of a shared album can add a maximum of 10,000 photos and videos, and the total number of objects in the album may not exceed 20 000. If the album contains a large number of objects, some functions may not be available.
In the case where the user has downloaded the maximum number of valid content, he’ll get the message that “Live album set on the groove”. To continue using the service, you will need to delete some data.
