How to free up a few additional gigabytes on iPhone and iPad without jailbreak
How to free up space on iPhone and iPad is an urgent issue. Especially if we are talking about 16 GB or, God forbid, 8-Gigabyte versions of the device. To clear memory, usually users delete music, videos, seek out applications that don’t mind to get rid of and even resort to jailbreak to install specialized software for data cleansing. However, there is a simple way to free up memory on the iPhone without deleting the information.
The trick is that iOS under certain conditions, self-optimizes the data on your mobile device. You just need to ask. The main condition for successful completion of the procedure is that on the iPhone or iPad should be no more than 5 GB of free space.
Step 1: go to Settings –> General –> “Storage and iCloud.”
Step 2: note the amount of memory available in the partition Vault.
Step 3: Return to the home screen and launch the iTunes Store.
Step 4: Write in the search “the Godfather” or “The Godfather”. In General, you can find any movie, most importantly, to the extent it was greater than the available gigabytes on your device. View the volume in the properties of the film.
Step 5: Click “Rent”, and “Take your HD movie rentals.” Don’t worry, iTunes will remove money from the account only if the device has enough memory to download the movie. You will need to enter the password on the account.
Step 6: iTunes will attempt to load the film, but as places to download content is not enough, will display a message: “unable to download. To download the “Godfather” of memory. Storage can be managed in the settings”.
Step 7: Click “Settings” and go to “Storage and iCloud.” Make sure that the amount of space available has increased!
Step 8: Again go back to the iTunes Store and click “Rent”, and “Take your HD movie rentals.” Repeat until free gigabytes will not stop growing.
Thus it is possible to free on your iPhone, iPod touch and iPad a few gigabytes of space without deleting music, games and applications. Tested!
