New in iOS 10: how to enable or disable the notification flash on calls and messages in silent mode
Since 2010, Apple equips the iPhone built-in led flash. Special LED designed to improve shooting in low-light conditions, is located on the rear panel of the smartphone near the camera. In addition to basic functions, flash solves other problems, in particular used as a flashlight and lets you know about calls and SMS-messages.
To use flash the iPhone to display notifications was possible in iOS 7. In iOS 10, the developers added an additional setting which allows you to enable or disable the led indicator when you activate silent mode. The corresponding toggle the Apple buried deep in the iOS settings. About how to configure the LED-flash iPhone, later in our statement.
Step 1: Open the installed app Settings on the mobile iOS 10.
Step 2: Go to General –> Universal access.
Step 3: Here you can activate a light display of messages that localizers called “Flash alerts”.
Step 4: Earlier in this section was available only one function – to turn on or off the flash. Mode worked both in normal and silent mode. Now, in iOS 10 in the settings there is an option, which allows you to turn off a light display in silent mode.
