Telegram users created a petition against the blocking of the messenger in Russia
Users of Telegram addressed to the Creator of the messenger of Pavel Durov with a request to prevent the ban of the service in Russia and give in to the demand of Roskomnadzor. Related petition appeared on the website Change.org.
Enterprising users have created a petition calling not to allow blocking of Telegram in Russia. The authors of the petition argue that recently the team of Pavel Durov received the notification from Roskomnadzor about the need to provide data for inclusion in the register of organizers of information dissemination (ARI).
The Agency still has not received a response from the Telegram. In the case of repeated disregard of the Federal service allegedly will block the program in Russia, according to the online statement.
“According to our data, Roskomnadzor still have not received command Telegram, no response. By law they have to make another request, and, if not, the Agency will block the messenger” — explain the authors of the petition.
According to them, lock, Telegram in Russia create for of messenger users and the owners of the Telegram channels “huge difficulties”. Therefore, the petitioners call upon Pavel Durov to yield to the demands of the authorities and register a service in the ORI.
“You want to protect our freedom, not to answer the appeal of Roskomnadzor, and not once in the register of distributors of information. We, the users of Telegram, they want to protect their freedom, continuing to use Telegram and developing its ecosystem. We ask You to prevent Telegram to the list of banned in the Russian messenger” — authors of the petition to the Creator of the messenger of Pavel Durov.
