Tesla's top manager switched to Apple. Someone seems to be preparing to release a car.
Apple hired Tesla's former head Steve McManus, who was responsible for designing the interiors and exteriors of cars, reports Bloomberg.
According to his LinkedIn profile, he holds the position of senior director at Apple, but does not specify the department to which he belongs. McManus has been at Tesla since 2015, before that he worked at Jaguar Land Rover, Bentley Motors and Aston Martin.
Rumors about the development of an autonomous car Apple go for a long time. TFI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that the company will present the vehicle codenamed Project Titan from 2023 to 2025.
This is not the first time Apple has been luring Tesla employees. Last year, Tesla Vice President for Management Systems Michael Schwecciuc and Chief Engineer for Automobiles Doug Field came to him.
