The new iPhone will not be split up, or worst case scenario for iPhone 7
What if the iPhone 7 will not be able to surprise consumers. What if it’s true and everything we’ve heard and seen about the new product are confirmed: in the autumn Apple will improve the iPhone 6s, but truly a new iPhone will present in the next year?
Disappointing predictions surrounding the Apple line of smartphones has reached new heights. Apparently, analysts believe that sales of “Apple” devices will grow endlessly, but it certainly not so. The announcement of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus was marked by huge demand primarily because of the large display size. The current flagship iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus just are unable to keep up with the predecessors.
To date, the number of smartphones Apple sold in the first quarter of 2016 dropped to 51 million, while a year earlier the figure was 61 million. moreover, analysts are predicting a decline in sales in the second quarter, and possibly 2017 – before the release of a completely redesigned iPhone.
If you believe the insiders, Apple has decided to abandon the strategy of “radical” upgrade iPhone every two years and deliberately went to increase this period to three years. Thus, the next iPhone will get a minor change compared to the previous model and “real” iPhone 7 will be released only in 2017.
In fact, “seven” has much more potential than analysts believe. Back to the game “What if”. What if the smartphone in the photos will actually be the iPhone 7? He will get more sleek, despite the fact that the overall design will not change. If the rumors about the technical characteristics are confirmed, we will get a flagship device with a powerful CPU, large amount of RAM, increased storage in the base and top versions (32, 128 and 256 GB), brand-new version of Siri and a better camera in the iPhone 7 and a brand new dual module in the iPhone 7 Plus.
Of course, this smartphone will not produce a revolution, but leaving behind everything announced in this year’s Android smartphones, becoming the most attractive solution on the market.
Do not forget that the validity of a biennial contract with the operator expires in 10 million people who chose the iPhone 6 or 6 Plus in 2014. Every quarter their number will grow as will end of term of the contract.
Next year the iPhone expects a large-scale redesign: the phone will get a completely glass enclosure, frameless OLED display and the display integrated into Touch ID. It is possible that the rumors about the new product to some extent will affect sales of the iPhone 7, but the media is not able to dictate to customers how to behave. People still love the iPhone and are willing to buy improved versions of branded Apple smartphones.
