The owners of Galaxy Note 7 has filed a class action lawsuit against Samsung because of problems with the replacement of the explosive smartphone
The owners of Galaxy Note 7 in the United States filed a collective claim in court against Samsung for the problems with exchange smartphones. On Tuesday The Wall Street Journal writes.
The plaintiffs said that was not able to exchange their smartphones for other model Galaxy Note. The manufacturer warned customers that the campaign will begin no sooner than a few weeks. Waiting costs to customers across the country in hundreds of millions of dollars, according to the lawsuit. This amount includes payments on loans and tariff plans.
“According to the recommendations of the Samsung users have ceased to use their Galaxy Note 7 and realized that the company simply no devices to replace. Instead, the manufacturer invited clients to wait a few days or even weeks before they can issue a new smartphone,” – said in the appeal of the plaintiffs.
The lawsuit was filed 16 Oct. The authors seek to represent the interests of buyers all around the United States. They have already supported gadgets buyers in Pennsylvania, California and Nevada. A spokesman for the American division of Samsung declined to comment.
