The Russians refused to buy the iPhone 6s in favor of the Galaxy S6, and now accuses Samsung of cheating customers
25-year-old resident of Noyabrsk named Anton Kornilov complained to the Russian representation of Samsung. The reason for the discontent was the absence in the Galaxy S6 technology MST, which, according to the buyer, was announced and actively advertised by the South Korean company. The man filed a claim because of the lack of promised technology in the Federal service and Federal Antimonopoly service.
MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission, or magnetic secure transmission) is a technology by which a user can contactless to pay for goods on standard terminals that support Bank cards with a magnetic strip. However, as described Kornilov edition of the Life in Russia the Galaxy S6 similar function is not equipped.
Unsatisfied users in November 2015, a long time could not decide what smartphone to buy: iPhone 6s and Galaxy S6. The decisive factor was the promise of Samsung to launch in 2016, payment service, Samsung Pay, with which a smartphone can pay for goods in almost any normal terminal, emulating the magnetic strip of a Bank card.
September 28, 2016 service Samsung Pay has finally launched in Russia, but Kornilov did not work to the advantage of the long-awaited technology. He appealed to the Samsung tech support to figure out what the problem is. As it turned out, the Russian version of Galaxy S6 is not designed to work with the MST, although before the arrival of the payment service Samsung Pay to Russia the function of the smartphone was advertised.
The Russians could not provide a large amount of evidence of his words on advertising: he managed to find the only video in which one of the top managers of Samsung Electronics Russia, talks about the benefits of the service, Samsung Pay, and at this moment there are phones Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge (19 seconds).
