A few chips application Workflow, which needs to know all the Apple users Muisc

Tell how to control the music using the application Workflow.

First, a little explanation of what is a Workflow. In fact, it’s Automator for iOS. This application helps to create a procedure that will be performed automatically by the device without user intervention. But do rules and regulations (hereinafter we call them processes), you must configure independently.

In General, your Workflow can simplify many routine tasks and accelerate the execution of certain actions, including when making music. There are some interesting processes that should be familiar to every music lover, about them and speech will go further.

Quick access to your favorite playlists

The first and most simple that can be achieved from the Workflow to get access to all the popular playlists directly from the lock screen.

To do this, you need to:

  • Open the application Workflow and create a new empty process.
  • Go to menu Actions (bottom left) and find the option to Get the Playlist and transfer to your process (bottom right).
  • In the menu that appears, Get the Playlist , choose playlist, which will be included with the process.
  • You then go back to menu Actions, find the option to Play Music and transfer it to your process.
  • You can then open the settings (the little cog icon at the top), select an icon for the process, give it a name and bring it into the widget.

That’s about it. Now all your favorite playlists will be available directly from the lock screen with one touch.

Create “smart” playlists

Apple has long implemented the ability to create smart playlists in iTunes, but it has never been in iOS. Workflow corrects this misunderstanding and creates playlists for the user. It is enough to specify a number of rules.

Variations of playlists can be very different. In this article we consider only some of them.

Playlist 25 most recently added tracks.

Often people add a lot to your library for new music, but not all have time to listen to her, forget about some songs, or just being lazy as can’t play them all at once. Workflow can sort 25/50/100 recently added songs and compile them in a separate playlist.

To do this:

  • Open the application Workflow and create a new empty process.
  • Go to menu Actions (bottom left) and find the option Find Music and transfer to your process (bottom right).
  • In the menu that appears, Find the Music you need to specify as a parameter to sort the date the song was added (Date Added).
  • Here you can specify the number of tracks.
  • You then go back to menu Actions, find the option Add to Playlist and transfer it to your process.
  • In the appearing menu Add to Playlist , you must specify an existing playlist, which will be added to the fresh tracks.

If you do not want to understand the above process, you can simply create a playlist titled “what’s New”. To download, already prepared Workflow. To configure the number of songs and activate it.

The same can be done with other parameters. For example, to choose a sort option, the number of auditions. Then get a playlist of the favorite songs (ones that the user has switched on and heard the end of often). This is done through Find Music.

Songs can be sorted by genre. For example, to select 100 random tracks in the genre of hip-hop and make them a playlist.

Sorting capabilities are limited only by the list of options to Find Music. Experiment.

Other useful actions

In addition to creating playlists and playing the last added tracks, you can configure other useful processes.

You can specify a specific time during which it will play music. It is very convenient to use this process before going to sleep. You can download it from the link above and don’t configure it. Each time you activate it will ask for the time in minutes and stop playing music after this time.

To know the release date of the song

This process is tied to the function Get Details of Music (can be found in the Actions list). It allows you to get some information about a specific song, album, playlist and so on. The process, downloadable from the link above, shows the date of issue of the current song. Of course, you can reconfigure the process to the demonstration of other useful info.

Share in social networks

Yeah, a track to share right from the app in the “Music” but it will take more time and require more action. In the case of Workflow, you can whip up to create a convenient process for the publication of songs in social networks.

To do this:

  • Open the application Workflow and create a new empty process.
  • Go to the Actions menu (bottom left) and find the option Get Current Song and move to your process (bottom right).
  • Then you need to go back to the Actions list and find the desired social network. For example, Twitter or Facebook.
  • All, it remains only to start the process and write a few words about listening to the track.

To change the volume

Another useful process which helps to change the volume without pressing the side keys and immediately turning to the volume level you want. Adjustment takes place directly in the widget in one tap.

While that’s all. As described above, the Workflow processes can greatly simplify working with Apple Music and out of music service maximum.
