“The root cause of cyber threats – is the preservation of the countries of the anonymity of users on the Internet,” Klimenko said in an interview with TASS. According to him, this is true not only in Russia but throughout the world.

“All the regulatory history that builds the whole world, including we, due to the fact that we have no deanonimizatsii. No laws about “eternal lock” would not be, if certain people were responsible for that”, – said Klimenko.

“And now to start the conversation you still with problems of anonymity. How journalism works: you don’t reveal my sources, but if you sue and prove that you slandered a person or company, you must give your source. Maybe you need to establish an international centre deanonimizatsii and to make sure that the person there presented, but continued to write under anonymous. This will allow, if necessary, to de-anonymize him in court”, – he added.

“Deanonimizatsiya – it’s a classic story, when a minority suppresses the majority. Anonymizers and use only 2% of people, but when we are talking about deanonimizatsii, their opinion is the most influential. “Fraud traffic” also occurs due to anonymity. The issue now is not whether to deny or allow, but you’ll need to start talking”, – said the adviser.

“In the final version of the world anonymity will not. Every year we live more transparently: video cameras, facial recognition, voice… And in these conditions, the struggle for anonymity looks, to put it mildly, strange” – said Klimenko.

Previously, Herman Klimenko suggested to go through authorization in the Internet through the website services. In his opinion, the main claim of the Russian right holders is the inability to identify the user, so they make claims to the sites. “Therefore a torrent tracker needs to tell the user: if you want to upload, log in. In this case, it will be the responsibility of the user”, — he said.
