Apple has discovered a secret lab to create a virtual reality helmet
Near Portland in the state of Oregon Apple has discovered a secret laboratory in which mainly former employees of Intel, reports Appleinsider.
The exact location of the lab is unknown. It is reported that it is located between the cities of Beaverton and Hillsboro, West of Portland.
In the new office are former employees of Intel, who held senior scientific and engineering positions. This became known thanks to the profiles of employees on LinkedIn. Earlier on the Apple website there were vacancies, which indicate that the company is looking for developers for the virtual reality helmet. Apple did not comment on the opening of the laboratory in Oregon, but we can assume that these two events are connected.
Appleinsider, citing a local newspaper stresses that this is not a new campus and Oregon have never been considered for the construction of a new building. In mid-may it became known that Apple intends to purchase a large plot in North Carolina or Northern Virginia to create a new campus for 20,000 people.
