Competitor to the Mac mini from Acer is equipped with Intel Core i7 processors and will be released in Russia at a price of 29 990 rubles
Manufacturers continue to demonstrate their achievements in the field of computer electronics at IFA in Berlin 2016. So, the Taiwanese company Acer showed the world powerful, ultra-compact desktop, designed to compete with the Mac mini.
The manufacturer announced desktop mini Revo Base, characterized by decent processing power: the device is based on Intel Core processors up to Core i7. Dimensions mini PC is 140 x 140 x 53 mm. For comparison, the Mac mini dimensions – 197 x 197 x 36 mm. Both devices are suitable for use as a multimedia center with limited space.
Like its main competitor Acer Revo mini Base does not use a discrete graphics card. The maximum amount of RAM a mini-computer is 8 GB, and the amount of drive – 256 GB if SSD and 2 TB HDD. Standard equipment includes interfaces Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and Gigabit Ethernet.
Among the Base mini Revo connectors there are four USB 3.1 (two ports on front and rear), DisplayPort and HDMI. Available SD card slot.
Acer Revo Vase will go on sale in Russia in the fourth quarter of 2016 at a price of 29 999 rubles. Note that the cost of the Mac mini in Russia starts with 40 990 rubles for the base model and reaches 79 990 for the version in the top configuration.
