Evernote will refuse some products for iOS

Many users have been fond of products like Skitch tool for easy annotation and browser extension, Clearly, allowing more comfortable reading articles from the Internet. All these products have been developed by the Evernote company, which recently decided to abandon them, and delete them from the App Store.

The company reported that on January 22 plans to discontinue support for Skitch for iOS, Windows, Windows Touch, and Android. At the same time, the app Skitch for OS X will be available in the Mac App Store as a free download. In addition, under the knife will be put Clearly app for iOS, and version of the app Evernote to Pebble smart watch.

The reason for this step is that many features of Skitch and were Clearly integrated into the app Evernote, which, of course, is not going anywhere. For this reason, the existence of separate applications to perform relevant tasks were found to be inappropriate. At the same time, if you have already downloaded Skitch or Clearly, after restoring your device you will still be able to download them from the tab “Purchases” in the App Store.
