Garmin has introduced the luxury smart watch Fenix Chronos [video]

Garmin releases is not the cheapest device. But the new model of “smart” watches of this company can afford and all units.

With new “smart” watch Fenix Chronos manufacturer goes in the luxury category, offering a model with a titanium bezel and bracelet, stainless steel, and the watch with a strap made from distressed Italian leather. The most affordable modification is estimated at $900, and over the top at all asking $1500. And in this case it is not about the fashion part, as in some competitors.

Fenix Chronos are available in options of steel, stainless steel and titanium with leather or metal straps. In all cases, transreflective display with a diagonal of 1.2 inches and a resolution of 218 x 218 pixels, covered with sapphire glass.

The operating system performs its own software platform Garmin. And in this case, it is envisaged to install various apps and additional watch faces from your own company.

The smart watch is equipped with a sensor heart rate, modules, GPS/GLONASS antenna and EXO. There are also altimeter, barometer and three-axis digital compass. Fenix Chronos is able to track the pulse, number of steps, recruitment and loss of height, amount of burned calories. Provides profiles for different sports such as running, swimming, skiing, Cycling, Golf and others.

Fenix Chronos can withstand immersion to a depth of 100 meters and is capable to work in simple mode to one week. With active GPS autonomy is reduced to 13 hours, which nevertheless is an excellent indicator for a compact device.
