How to change the direction of movement when shooting panoramas

The ability to take panoramic photos in iOS appeared long ago. It is implemented using software tools, stacking a series of shots into a panorama. Today, if you are the owner of iPod touch 5 th and 6 th generations, including iPad Air 2, iPad mini 4, iPad Pro and any iPhone including the iPhone 4s, you can shoot 240-degree panorama by moving the device from left to right. However, not many know that since iOS 6 you can change the direction of shooting of panoramas. We will explain how to do it.

The first step is very simple. Launch the Camera app on your iPhone, iPad or iPod and using the swipe switch the camera to Panorama mode.

In Panorama mode you’ll see an arrow indicating the direction of movement. By default the direction is set from left to right, but a simple tap on this arrow enough to change the direction of movement for shooting panoramic photos.
