How to recover a password using your iPhone

The other day I ran into one problem — one Internet service demanded to change the password for security purposes, and for this purpose it was necessary to enter the old password. Since the latter has not changed for half a year, the password of course, I forgot (in the habit of writing on sticky notes and add them to the monitor). And here I came to help one of the features of Safari.

When you log in to any website in Safari on iOS, and then save the password on the device, it goes into a special section on iPhone and iPad. Later you can always access the password if you suddenly forget to do this, go to “Settings” — “Safari” — “Passwords.” Please note that to enter in this section will require either the user password or fingerprint.

I quickly found the password in the list and successfully replaced it with a new one (which, incidentally, is also preserved in the appropriate section). Convenient for those online services that practice such or don’t allow to recover password using email.

On the other hand, this solution is a bit scary, because in fact all of your passwords intruders will be separated only one password and learn it is often not such a problem.
