HP has released leather notebook
Yesterday, 1 October, at a press conference in Manhattan, HP introduced a new gadget – Spectre Folio. During the presentation representatives of the company stated that “aluminium has become the gold standard housings of computers” and the HP device is a foldable notebook in a leather case.
“It’s not the computer that is wrapped in leather, is a computer made of leather”.
Instead of a coating of aluminum or plastic chassis of a gadget uses genuine cow leather.
The laptop features a 13.3-inch touchscreen display and an Intel Core i5 or i7. The manufacturer offers versions with 8 or 16 GB of RAM and hard drive capacity up to 2 TB. The gadget is equipped with speakers by Bang & Olufsen, 2 Thunderbolt ports 3 one USB Type-C and one USB-A connector. Package includes: HP Spectre Folio, adapter USB-C to USB-A, power adapter and stylus pen HP Digital Pen.
According to the company, the laptop can work up to 18 hours from a fully charged battery.
Pre-orders are already accepted. Prices start from 1 $ 300 for the version with a Core i5 processor.
