IPhone 6 users have filed a lawsuit against Apple due to “diseases of the touch screen

As it became known, users have filed a statement of claim in the district court of California for the company’s failure to acknowledge this manufacturing defect.

The fault of “Apple” smartphones appears by chance and is expressed in the appearance of shimmering gray strip at the top of the screen. The sensor display will not respond to touch or starts to react worse. The defect has been dubbed the “disease of the touch screen (touch disease).

The lawsuit States that Apple is violating Federal law and California law, refusing to accept the phones with a defect, warranty not covered. According to the results of independent studies, at the moment it is the most common complaint from owners of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. Every tenth is drawn to the service center of Apple with this problem.

Experts believe that the problem is related to the controller screen and the deformation that affected iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. With regular loads on the device ā€“ many small twists that occur every day many times, for example when a person sits on a chair with a smartphone in his pants pocket ā€“ the solder between the chip and the motherboard is gradually destroyed and the contact is broken.

“Treated” defect iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus replace the system Board or resoldering of the chip, but for this job only professionals. In filed court documents it is alleged that in the Apple long known about the problem, but to repair the device refuse.

“Apple for a long time knows about this defect of the iPhone. Nevertheless, the company refuses to fix a routine problem smartphones. Many iPhone owners treated employees and representatives of the company with a request to offer a solution and/or tell them about the problem and/or produce a free repair. Apple is refusing users”, ā€“ is spoken in the statement of claim.

It is noted that in later iPhone models, the design of the smartphone was changed and the controller moved to another location. Models iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are not suffering a “disease of the touch screen.
