iWork for iOS and OS X: finally an update!

Last night Apple finally released the update to its office Suite of apps for iOS and OS X. the Main change is the correction of a mistake which would not open some Word documents, and support for 3D gestures Touch. But it’s not the whole list of innovations, which can boast of updated Pages, Numbers and Keynote.

Pages, Numbers, Keynote for iOS:

• Improved stability and performance of the program.
• Multitasking while in edit mode, Slide Over, Split View or “picture in Picture” on the iPad.
• Access to the formatting tools with the quick access toolbar on the iPad.
• Fixed bug where tables would not open in the last saved position.
• Fixed bug where didn’t open some spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel.
• Highlighting text using Multi-Touch gestures on the iPad.
• Use shortcut keys when you connect a wireless keyboard.
The ability to open documents in Pages ’08 and ’06.
• The ability to open a spreadsheet format in Numbers ’08.
• The ability to view shared documents in browsers on iOS and Android.
• View and restore changes made at different times.
New templates from Apple: a Certificate for kids, certificate, Classic, School newsletter.
• New animation: Drawing the line.
• New templates from Apple: Design, Exhibition, Sketch.
• Quick access to recently used fonts in the menu “Fonts”.
• Adding reference lines to charts.

Pages, Numbers, Keynote for OS X:

• Fixed bug not allowing to search the dictionary for words contained in the list.
• Various bug fixes.
• Improved stability and performance of the program.
• Multitasking when editing in Split mode View El Capitan.
• Ability to open documents in Pages/Numbers/Keynote ’08 and ’06.
• Documents of Pages/Numbers/Keynote can now be viewed in browsers on iOS and Android.
• When you press the trackpad image Force Touch produces a tactile response.
New templates from Apple.
Quick access to recently used fonts in the menu “Fonts”.
• Improved support for OpenType features, such as capitalization, contextual fractions, variables, and other glyphs.
• View Collections, Moments, Favorites, and General albums of Photos in the media browser.
• Ability to add reference lines to charts.
• You can create table styles, charts, and shapes of the images.
• The ability to add and check the comments with VoiceOver.
• Tracking changes using VoiceOver.
Edit the data and chart elements using VoiceOver.
