New refrigerator LG 29-inch touchscreen running on Windows 10 [video]

At the IFA exhibition in 2016 in Berlin, the company LG has introduced a fancy refrigerator that runs on Windows operating system 10. The user not only can see what is hiding behind the door, but also directly on the fridge to run classic desktop applications.

Smart Instaview refrigerator Door-in-Door is equipped with a 29-inch touch screen on a transparent substrate. On display is the default status widget LG, which opens a quick access timer, stopwatch, list of products and applications for diet. But at any time you can go to the regular “start menu” full “Windows”.

Thanks to the translucent touchscreen, filling a shopping list right on the screen of the refrigerator, you can look at its contents. Windows 10 supports the Intel Atom processor, 2 GB RAM, Wi-Fi module and microphone to communicate via Skype and with voice assistant Cortana.

From the app store you can install programs using the Edge browser to surf the web, watch YouTube or listen to music.

The specifications for the LG Smart Instaview Door-in-Door are not yet available. The device will be available to customers in late 2016.
