Palm introduced the super-compact smartphone

The American company Palm back on the smartphone market after closing in 2010. The manufacturer released a compact smartphone with a screen of 3.3 inches, which can create a new class of devices.

The smartphone has a small 3.3 inch screen with a resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels. This is less than the first iPhone in 2007, so the phone is very compact.

Despite the small display, the rest is the usual Android smartphone 8.1. Inside it is equipped with a processor Snapdragon 435, 3 GB RAM, storage of 32 GB and a battery of 800 mAh. Palm claims the phone will last “all day”. But if the battery sits, the device can quickly charge: 50% in 31 minutes, and 100% for 68 minutes.

Palm supports unlocking face, though on the front there are no sensors except for the front camera. The company has redesigned the Android interface to optimize it for small screens. On the main screen displays all apps in a cloud of icons. Something that reminds interface watchOS.

If desired, the Palm can be used as a fitness wristband and bike computer. The company will release the appropriate accessories along with the smartphone in November 2018. Palm will be sold in the US for $ 349, and only the operator Verizon. On the supply in other countries there is no information.
