Razer has officially launched a new gaming smartphone
On October 10 at a press event in Los Angeles, Razer has introduced the second generation of Razer Phone. The device combines the features of a modern flagship gaming smartphone.
Razer Phone 2, as with previous smartphone the company has got 8 GB of RAM and 64 GB of memory, but it has a more powerful chipset – Snapdragon 845. The display frequency of 120 Hz was 50% brighter. The manufacturer also improved the cooling system to provide the best performance. Thanks to system of cooling “steam chamber”, the Razer Phone 2 outperformed in benchmark tests, OnePlus 6.
Razer also added in your smartphone new features. In Razer Phone 2 app pre-installed Razer Cortex for recommendations of games that are optimized for phone based on user preferences. Company representatives stated that they cooperated with the PUBG Mobile developers to optimize games for Razer Phone 2.
In Razer Phone 2 has a battery capacity of 4000 mAh. The smartphone supports fast charging via USB port-C, and a new generation appeared, the module of wireless charging, thanks to glass casing. The company even released its own wireless charger. In addition, the Razer logo on the back of the smartphone has a backlight, which is fully customizable, and notifies you of incoming messages or calls.
The smartphone is protected from water and dust according to IP67 standard. Razer Phone 2 uses a new system with two chambers, which consists of a standard 12-megapixel wide-angle lens with OIS and lens, 13 megapixel with dual zoom. Front camera now supports Full HD resolution.
Razer Phone 2 is already available for preorder on the manufacturer’s website at a price of 799 U.S. dollars.
