The iPhone will not support Apple Pencil and dual-SIM models will be exclusive to China

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has shared a new batch of unconfirmed information about the upcoming Apple announcements, and also spoke about the fate of 3D Touch technology.

The last two months in the network have been circulating rumors that Apple engineers are testing support proprietary stylus in the iPhone, and will implement it in the near future. Despite this, a prominent Chinese analyst believes that the Corporation decided to abandon this idea. According to Kuo, a team of engineers couldn’t do the Apple Pencil as useful when working with the iPhone, as with iPad.

The specialist also shared information about the new Apple smartphones with two SIM-cards. Such models will be unavailable in the United States and many other countries. Most likely, they will be exclusive for the Chinese market. This means that the device will be used a full SIM card, rather than their electronic versions (in China they are banned at the legislative level, as in Russia). It is unknown whether it would be possible to buy an iPhone in China and use two SIM cards in other countries.

And finally, Kuo said that Apple is considering to completely abandon the technology of 3D Touch in 2019. In its current form it was not justified. The analysts said that the final decision on this matter is still pending.
