TSMC is the sole manufacturer of the chips A13 for iPhone 2019

Recently Apple introduced the first 7-nm processor A12, through which iPhone XS and XS Max easily ahead of competitors in various benchmark tests. The development of chips did the engineers from Cupertino, at the time, as for the production responsible TSMC.

As you know, TSMC is the sole manufacturer of Apple’s chips starting with the A10, which was released in 2016.

According to the portal Digitimes report, Apple has publicly praised TSMC for the fact that she “is able to mass produce high quality products and use a flexible approach to new technologies”. Last month, Apple boasted that it was the first company that released a phone with a 7-nm processors. To a large extent the iPhone maker achieved this through collaboration with TSMC.

Unfortunately, no details about A13 chip, but it is likely that it will be built using the 7-nanometer process technology, but the manufacturing would be exclusively TSMC.

Rumor has it that Apple is preparing for the announcement A12X, which will probably be presented in the upcoming versions of iPad Pro, which, as expected, the company will release within this month.
