[VIDEO] How to bypass passcode iPhone

Unfortunately, operating systems line of iOS 9 continue to disappoint us with new vulnerabilities and bugs that call into question the security of Apple devices. Recently they opened another hole in a defense that allows to bypass passcode lock iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.

This vulnerability gives the ability to effortlessly gain access to contacts and photos of the user who put the password protection on your smartphone. To do this, you need from the lock screen to invoke Siri and ask her to search on Twitter.

Then, on the question of what to look for, you should say something like “@gmail.com”. The granting of a search is necessary to find some valid email address, and firmly tap it with a 3D Touch. Once you get to the appropriate menu, select add address to existing contact.

Voila — we caught sight of the whole phonebook of the victim with all contact information. Well, if you go to any contact and try to change his profile photo, you will also be able to dig in the camera roll of the user. Of course, the ability to delete or export the photos you have, but you must admit, that in itself is already unpleasant.

How to protect yourself from unwanted attention from attackers? To do this you must perform two actions. First, go to Settings — Twitter and remove Siri from the list of programs that have access to your account on Twitter. Secondly, in the settings Privacy — Photos disallow Siri to access your camera roll.

I hope that in the near future Apple will fix this annoying bug, and the owners of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will be able to breathe a sigh of relief. More about this can be found in a video prepared by us.
