Call of Duty: Black Ops III released for macOS
Yesterday, game developer Aspyr announced the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops III for Mac with a 64-bit operating system and Metal support.
All Mac Ops III content, which was previously available only to Windows users in the Steam store, is now open to Mac players;
Call of Duty: Black Ops III Multiplayer Starter Pack (worth 599 rubles): includes a limited version of the game for several players;
Call of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies Chronicles Edition (worth 1,999 rubles): includes a full base game and additional Zombies Chronicles content with eight classic maps for the Zombie mode, adapted for high resolution;
Call of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies Deluxe Edition (worth 3,499 rubles): includes the full base game, the Season Pass, and additional Zombies Chronicles content.
The first-ever first-person shooter Black Ops III was released in November 2015 for the Xbox, PlayStation and Windows. Since then, the developers have released three new parts of Call of Duty, including Infinite Warfare in 2016, WWII in 2017, and Black Ops 4 last year.
To play on Mac you need:
OS macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 or later;
Quad-core Core i5 processor with a clock speed of 2.3 GHz or higher;
8 GB of RAM or more;
150 GB of free memory;
graphics card with at least 2 GB of video memory.
According to Steam, Black Ops III for macOS does not officially support Nvidia and Intel GPUs.
At the time of writing this article on Steam, 50% discount is available for Call of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies Chronicles Edition and Call of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies Chronicles Deluxe until April 8, 2019.
