Apple is preparing a folding iPad with support for 5G networks – IHS

Apple is working on a collapsible iPad with a 5G modem, according to analytical company IHS Markit. According to her, in the open state, the tablet will be the size of a MacBook.

There is no other information about the new IHS Markit device.

It is unlikely that Apple will release a folding device with support for 5G networks in the foreseeable future, since even the first iPhone with 5G modems will be released no earlier than 2020.

According to another IHS Markit prediction, in the fall of 2019, Apple will release a 16-inch MacBook Pro.
