Firefox started testing the extension for the tracking of the discounts on Amazon and Ebay

Mozilla has launched a test extension for Firefox, which helps users track discounts popular online stores. The company said in its official press release.

The program is called Price Wise. To track stocks on the desired products, add them to a special list. Subsequently, if you change the price on a product the user will receive an appropriate notification. At the moment the test extension works with eBay stores, Home Depot, Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon and only available for US residents.

It is noteworthy that the application can only read domains “.com”. Will the developers to expand the range of used sites is still unknown.

Mozilla is not the first year tries to make their products more user friendly. In the summer, the company announced that it is working on building a browser Scout, which will be implemented through speech commands.
